If you are like me you enjoy the fun and exciting game of craps. If you are like me you are a novice and your wallet is a little lighter every time you leave a craps table. If YOU help me, maybe next time I'll have better luck. There are lots of guides out there promising to teach you how to win. I want you to teach me how to win by telling me what you have you have found out about the game (I'll share what I find out with you). What works, what doesn't work. Who has the best information and who (pardon the expression) is full of crap. You can email me your favorite methods, and your opinion on the following things that interest me. ABOUT ME: I live in northern California and go with my wife to Reno 3 or 4 times a year. Until recently I mostly played slots. I often noticed bursts of excitement coming from the craps tables, and I was drawn to them. I now spend a portion of my time in Reno playing craps. I hope you can make my time more profitable. BOOK REVIEW: "Beat the Craps Out of the Casinos", Frank Scoblete, Bonus Books, Inc., Chicago 1991 I don't think that all you will have to do is read this book and then go beat the craps out of the casinos. This book is well written and should be an interesting read for anyone, even if they aren't particularly interested in craps. Frank Scoblete begins with the fundamentals and then moves on to the Captain's 5-count method of play. The method may or may not work, but also in the book are insights into the casinos, the dealers, and the gamblers. Whether you are on a limited bankroll or a high roller this book will have something for you. SIMULATOR REVIEW: HOYLE CASINO,Sierra On-line, Inc.,1999 I enjoy this simulator. You can play craps for hours (I have) and never lose a dime. Play with a friend, with animated players or play online. It's a great place to learn the odds or practise your favorite method. | ||||||||||||||||||
